To enter this Contest, you must agree to and abide by these Official Rules (“Official Rules”).

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Contest Overview: Jugaad is defined as a flexible approach to problem-solving that uses limited resources in an innovative way. Each entrant will create a video (“Video”) showing a jugaad invention they have created using everyday household items. There will be ten (10) winners (“Winners”) for the Contest. 

In organizing the Contest, CrunchLabs does not intend to promote its products or its brand, rather CrunchLabs is seeking to intrinsically motivate and engage with the Indian public. 

1. SPONSOR: CrunchLabs LLC, 649 Grape Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94087 USA (“Sponsor”).

2. ADMINISTRATOR: Probability LLC, 2 Woodstock Meadows Lane, Woodstock, NY 12498  USA (“Administrator”).

3. ELIGIBILITY: The “Mark Rober Jugaad Contest” ("Contest") is open only to legal residents of India, who are eight (8) years of age or older. A person may either enter the Contest themselves or in their capacity as the parent or legal guardian of their child/children who is/are legal resident(s) of India and between the ages of eight (8) years old and eighteen (18) years old (i.e., an eligible minor). UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY AN ELIGIBLE MINOR/CHILD/CHILDREN ENTER THE CONTEST BY THEMSELF. Employees of Sponsor, Administrator, any organizations/individuals responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Contest, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, as applicable (collectively, the "Promotion Entities"), and the immediate family and household members of any of the foregoing individuals, are not eligible to enter or win. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses, regardless of where they live. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three (3) months a year, whether related or not. Potential winners may be required to provide proof of eligibility prior to prize award. Offered only in India. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

4. CONTEST SCHEDULE: Contest begins on or about 9:00:01 a.m. India Standard Time (“IST”) on April 30, 2025 and ends 11:59:59 p.m. IST on June 15, 2025 (“Contest Period”). Sponsor's computer is the official clock for the Contest. 

5. CONTEST ENTRY: To enter, an entrant must take ALL of the following actions (each, a “Contest Entry” and collectively, “Contest Entries”):

Step 1: Post a video on Facebook, X, YouTube or Instagram of your/your child’s or children’s most creative, innovative Jugaad invention using everyday household items (“Video”). Your post must include the hashtag “#MarkRoberJugaad” (“Contest Hashtag”) (collectively a “Post”). Your profile must be public in order for Sponsor to see your Post(s).

Step 2: Visit https://markroberjugaad.com (the “Website”)  and complete the Contest Entry Form consisting of your full name, email address age and  child's/children’s full name(s), and age[s] (if applicable) and provide the link to your Post from either Instagram, X, Facebook, or YouTube which includes the Contest Hashtag.

Step 3: Check the boxes indicating you (and, if applicable, your child/children) meet the Contest Eligibility requirements, you have read and agree to the Official Rules, Sponsor’s Terms of Service (https://www.crunchlabs.com/policies/terms-of-service) and Privacy Policy (https://www.crunchlabs.com/policies/privacy-policy). Entrants (if participating in your capacity as the parent/legal guardian of a child/children, Entrants refers only to the parent/legal guardian themselves) may be asked to consent to grant permission for Sponsor to use your Entry for future marketing purposes. Consenting to grant permission for Sponsor to use your Entry for future marketing purposes is optional and is not required in order to submit an Entry in the Contest. For clarity, should you enter the Contest in your capacity as the parent/legal guardian of a child/children, the preceding agreement will be binding upon both you personally and the child/children.

**If you enter the Contest in your capacity as the parent/legal guardian of more than one (1) of your children, only the child identified in the Contest Entry Form as per subsection (b) above will receive a prize should the Video is determined to be a prize winner.

Entrants (if participating in your capacity as the parent/legal guardian of a child/children, Entrants refers only to the parent/legal guardian themselves) may be asked to consent to receive promotional emails from the Sponsor. Consenting to receive promotional e-mails is optional and is not required in order to submit an Entry in the Contest. Promotional emails from the Sponsor are subject to the Privacy Policy of the Sponsor, and you (if participating in your capacity as the parent/legal guardian of a child/children, you refers only to the parent/legal guardian themselves) may opt out of receiving these emails at any time.

ONLY POSTS SUBMITTED TO THE WEBSITE (AS SET FORTH ABOVE) WILL BE ELIGIBLE. SOLELY POSTING  A VIDEO TO INSTAGRAM, X , YOUTUBE OR FACEBOOK WILL NOT COUNT AS AN ENTRY. Partial or incomplete/piecemeal submissions (Posts missing the Contest Hashtag) via Instagram,  X, YouTube, or Facebook  will NOT BE ACCEPTED.

POSTS MAY NOT INCLUDE ANY MUSIC. Sponsor reserves the right to remove any music from a Post. Videos must be no longer than sixty (60) seconds. If a Video exceeds sixty (60) seconds, only the first sixty (60) seconds will be judged. Hashtag is not case-sensitive. The Video and Contest Hashtag must be included as part of your Post in order to be eligible.

Post must be created for the sole purpose of this Contest and must be posted by the entrant (either for themselves or in their capacity as the parent/legal guardian of a child/children). MINORS/CHILDREN MUST NOT POST THE VIDEO ON THEIR OWN INSTAGRAM, X, YOUTUBE AND/OR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT. Sharing another account’s post to your own feed (i.e., known as “re-grams” on Instagram and as “re-tweets” on X) or otherwise copying/plagiarizing another Entrant’s work will not be a valid entry: as set forth above, entry must show the Jugaad invention of Entrant’s or Entrant’s child/children. To be eligible for the Contest, Posts must be readily accessible by clicking on the link included as part of the submitted Contest Entry Form. If Sponsor/Administrator cannot access the link to the Post, the corresponding entry is void and will not be reviewed.

Limit one (1) Entry per person  during the Promotion Period regardless of the number of Instagram, X, YouTube or Facebook  accounts that the entrant may haveNot-withstanding the foregoing, if a person has more than one (1) child, that person can submit an Entry for each child provided that each Entry is different. You may only use one (1) account per social media platform to participate in the Contest. Multiple Entries and/or mass Entry attempts in violation of this limit may result in disqualification of all Entries related to such person/email address/Instagram/X/YouTube/Facebook account. Entries must be manually key-stroked by the entrant; use of automated devices or programs, or Entries by third parties by any method of entry, are prohibited. Entries that do not conform to or that violate these Official Rules or are submitted in any manner other than as stated in these Official Rules will be disqualified. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for late, corrupted, garbled, inaccessible/blocked, incomplete or misdirected Entries. The preceding includes but is not limited to any filtering by or other operation of any social media platform which prevents Sponsor/Administrator from readily accessing the Post via the link in the corresponding Contest Entry Form. All Posts must comply with the Instagram Terms of Use, X Terms of Service, YouTube Terms of Service, YouTube Community Guidelines (https://www.youtube.com/howyoutubeworks/policies/community-guidelines/), Facebook Terms of Service, and Instagram, X, and/or Facebook Rules available at the applicable platforms’ websites, to the extent applicable. Important note: If your account is set to “private” or “protected mode”, your Post will not be visible to Sponsor/Administrator and will not be counted as an Entry in the Contest.  By entering the Contest, entrant agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator and Sponsor, which are binding and final, in all matters relating to this Contest. For clarity, should you enter the Contest in your capacity as the parent/legal guardian of a child/children, the preceding agreement will be binding upon both you personally and the child/children.

Once submitted, Posts/Entries cannot be modified by Entrant. Should an  Entrant consent to grant permission for Sponsor to use Entry for future marketing purposes on behalf of him/her/themselves and their child/children (if applicable) they hereby grant Sponsor and their designees a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, sub-licensable, non-exclusive license (herein “License”) to use any portion of the Post on any media and through any means now known or hereafter devised, including without limitation, the World Wide Web, and to otherwise use the Post without compensation in accordance with the requirements of this Contest and the advertising, promotion, and publicity of the Contest, Sponsor’s products, and otherwise, as stated in these Official Rules (as solely determined by Sponsor). Without in any way limiting the foregoing, Sponsor may request an entrant to confirm the preceding grant of rights at any time by timely completing, signing and delivering any and all necessary documents, including without limitation, documents setting forth any licenses, releases and indemnities that Sponsor in its sole discretion may require, without condition or compensation of any kind. For clarity, should you enter the Contest in your capacity as the parent/legal guardian of a child/children and check the box consenting to grant permission for Sponsor to use Entry for future marketing purposes , the preceding will be binding upon both you personally and the child/children.    If Sponsor does not receive all such documentation from a given entrant within the prescribed timeframe, in each instance as required by Sponsor in their sole discretion, the entrant and their child/children (if applicable) in question may be disqualified from the Contest forfeiting the opportunity to win a prize.  For the avoidance of doubt, if Entrant DOES NOT check the box consenting to grant permission for Sponsor to use Entry for future marketing purposes, the above does not apply.

If you do not have an Instagram, X, YouTube, or Facebook  account,  before the end of the Promotion Period, you can visit  https://instagram.com https://X.com  https://www.facebook.com and/or https://www.youtube.com/ download the Instagram, X, YouTube, or Facebook app on a compatible device from the iTunes App Store or Google Play and create an Instagram, X, YouTube, or Facebook account according to the instructions on the website/app. Creating an account is free. Please note that you must agree to comply with the Instagram Terms of Use, X Terms of Service, YouTube Terms of Service, YouTube Community Guidelines (https://www.youtube.com/howyoutubeworks/policies/community-guidelines/) or Facebook Terms of Service order to create an account (as applicable).

Data rates may apply for each message sent or received from your wireless device according to the terms and conditions of your service agreement with your wireless carrier. Other charges may apply (such as normal airtime and carrier charges as well as charges for wireless Internet access) and may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid account balance. Wireless carriers' rate plans may vary, and you should contact your wireless carrier for more information on messaging rate plans and charges relating to your participation in this Contest. Mobile device service may not be available in all areas. Check your phone's capabilities for specific instructions.

6. CONTEST ENTRY RESTRICTIONS/CONTENT GUIDELINES: In addition to complying with all other requirements of these Official Rules, Instagram, X, YouTube and/or Facebook, each Entry must comply with the following guidelines (“Content Guidelines”). Posts must be original and created for the sole purpose of this Contest and must be posted by the Entrant and show the Jugaad invention of Entrant or Entrant’s child/children.

Participation must be effected in accordance with these Official Rules. Once submitted, Entries cannot be modified or supplemented by entrant. 

The Video of the jugaad invention : (i) must be the wholly original and sole creation of the Entrant or their child/children (and, if the latter, Entrant may NOT in any way assist their child/children in the creation of the jugaad invention), and all right, title and interest including but not limited to the copyright in any Post, must be owned solely by the submitting entrant (either personally or in their capacity as the parent/legal guardian of their child/children); (ii) may not infringe upon any third party’s rights, including but not limited to, copyright, patent or trademarks/tradenames/logos, or rights of privacy or publicity, or contain material that is or may be considered misleading, inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous, or portray or depict any person, product or entity in a false light*; (iii) may not violate any law, rule or regulation; (iv) may not contain any virus, bugs, or other deleterious material; (v) may not contain content that, for example but is not limited to, reflects, advocates or promotes bigotry, racism, hatred, harm or exploitation of or against any class, group or individual, discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age, or actions or activities that are restricted, prohibited, illegal or unlawful (including without limitation, the consumption of alcohol or other controlled substances), defamatory statements, words or symbols widely considered offensive; (vi) may not be sexually explicit or suggestive, profane or pornographic or contain nudity; (vii) must have been created specifically for this Contest and not have been previously posted via social media or otherwise; and each entrant warrants and represents that their Post complies with all of those conditions. Posts cannot contain, among other things, the trademark, tradename or logo of any third party or entity or product, cannot name or describe any person (living, dead, or fictional) other than the Entrant and/or their child/children), and cannot contain any material that is protected by copyright.

*Sponsor grants to each qualified entrant a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, revocable right to use its trademarks solely for purposes of and limited to including them in the Contest Entries; such right and license will automatically expire without further act of any party at the expiration of the Promotion Period, unless specifically extended on an individual basis by Sponsor in writing in its sole discretion. Any other use of Sponsor’s and/or its licensors’ trademarks will be a violation of Sponsor’s or its applicable licensor’s intellectual property rights. Sponsor’s items (including the trademarks) cannot be modified, adapted, or edited by entrant; the preceding only excludes modifications due to technological limitations or malfunctions.

CONTENT IN CONTEST ENTRIES REPRESENTS SOLELY THE VIEWS/OPINIONS OF THE ENTRANT/ENTRANT’S CHILD/CHILDREN AND DOES NOT REFLECT THE VIEWS/OPINIONS OF SPONSOR. SPONSOR IS ENCOURAGING ENTRANTS TO POST VIDEOS OF THE JUGAAD INVENTION THAT WAS CREATED BY THEMSELVES OR BY THEIR CHILD/CHILDREN AND HAS NO OBLIGATION TO, AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL LIABILITY IN CONJUNCTION WITH, SCREENING, MONITORING OR REVIEWING CONTENT IN CONTEST ENTRIES.  VIEWERS SHOULD NOT SEEK TO RE-CREATE JUGAAD INVENTIONS  AS SHOWN IN ENTRANTS’ POSTS, WITHOUT FIRST CAREFULLY RESEARCHING THE OBJECTIVE AND PROTOCOLS OF THE JUGAAD INVENTION , TAKING ANY AND ALL NECESSARY AND APPROPRIATE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. SPONSOR HAS NOT INDEPENDENTLY VERIFIED THE SAFETY, EFFICACY OR OVERALL ADVISABILITY OF CREATING AND/OR USING ANY JUGAAD INVENTION POSTED BY AN ENTRANT ON SOCIAL MEDIA—AND ANY ACTION TAKEN BY A PERSON IN RELIANCE ON A POST IS ENTIRELY AT THEIR OWN RISK.

7. JUDGING (Winner Determination): Judging will be conducted in two stages. Initial judging will be conducted from among all eligible entries received by a panel of judges composed of representatives of the Sponsor (“Sponsor Judges”). Scoring by the Sponsor Judges will be based on the weighted criteria below, each judged on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) as follows:

  1. Engineering prowess (30%)

  2. Potential to become a future innovator (30%)

  3. Suitability for promotional use (40%)

The Sponsor Judges will forward up to the top 15 highest scoring entries for final judging. Should the Sponsor Judges forward fewer than 15 entries for any reason, Administrator and Sponsor shall not have any liability of any kind. The 15 highest entries will then be re-judged by the Sponsor using the same criteria and the 5 entries with the highest score will be deemed the Winners. In the event of a tie in the second round of judging, the tie will be broken in favor of the Finalist with the highest score in criterion c) “Suitability for promotional use.”

In all cases, the Sponsor Judges shall take into the account the ages of the persons creating the jugaad invention in evaluating Entries.

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential Winners will be notified by email on or about June 23, 2025. (This includes a potential winner who entered the Contest in their capacity as the parent/legal guardian of a child/children.) The initial verification notice will require the potential Winner to sign and return, within three (3) business days an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification,  and a Publicity Release where allowed by law (“Winner Documents”). If the completed Winner Documents are not returned by the potential Winner to Administrator within the specified time period, a potential Winner may be disqualified. For clarity, if a potential Winner entered the Contest in their capacity as the parent/legal guardian of a child/children, the preceding agreement will be binding upon both the potential Winner personally and the potential Winner’s child/children and, if applicable, the potential Winner’s child/children will be disqualified due to the non-compliance of potential Winner with the Winner Documents requirement.

In the event of any dispute concerning the identity of any entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized account holder of the e-mail account used for entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address and he/she must fully comply with these Official Rules.

9. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”):

Ten (10) Winners: will each receive ₹5 lakh Indian Rupee ($5,862.44 USD).** The prize will be awarded in the form of a cheque.

**Value determined as of April 24, 2025.

For the avoidance of doubt, prizes will be awarded in US dollars.

IF WINNER ENTERED THE CONTEST IN THEIR CAPACITY AS THE PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN OF A CHILD/CHILDREN, THE  PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED IN THE NAME OF AND TO THE PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN AND NOT TO THE CHILD/CHILDREN.

Limit of one (1) prize per family, household or address. Winners are not entitled to exchange or transfer prizes or to obtain other substitutes. All foreign, provincial, territorial taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Winners (including winners who entered the Contest in their capacity as the parent/legal guardian of a child/children) may receive a Form 1042-S. Winners may be responsible for U.S. Foreign withholding tax on prize in addition to taxes levied by his/her country of residence (that is, India) on value of prize won.

10.  LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY.  Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for failed, 

partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind affecting the Contest in any manner, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software as well as filtering by or operation of the Instagram, X, YouTube and/or Facebook platforms. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures beyond Sponsor’s control that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest (including entries or otherwise), Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual, whether or not the individual is a participant in the Contest, who tampers with the entry process, and to terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct the Contest and award the Prizes in a manner which is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Notice of termination/modification/suspension of Contest will be posted on Website. No responsibility is assumed by any Released Party for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or loss, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry or participation to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website/platform, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any person's computer or mobile device related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this Contest. Failure of Sponsor or Administrator to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute the waiver of such provision.

Persons entering the Contest further agree not to knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Contest and/or prevent others from participating in the Contest. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE ANY ONLINE SERVICE, WEBSITE OR PLATFORM OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST VIOLATES CRIMINAL OR CIVIL LAWS. IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT IS MADE, SPONSOR MAY DISQUALIFY ANY PERSON, WHETHER OR NOT THE INDIVIDUAL IS A PARTICIPANT IN THE CONTEST MAKING SUCH ATTEMPT AND SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.

11. RELEASES AND ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: By participating, each entrant on behalf of him/her/themselves and their child/children (if applicable) agrees: (a) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Administrator, which shall be final and binding in all respects; and (b) to the extent permitted by law to hold harmless each of the Promotion Entities, Meta Platforms, Inc., X Corp., Google LLC, Mark Rober personally, each of their respective advertising and promotion agencies, any entity responsible for the administration of this Promotion, each of the foregoing entities’ respective parent, subsidiary, related, affiliated and successor companies, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage, including, without limitation, bodily injury, arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in this Promotion or any Promotion-related activity (including without limitation, any travel related thereto), and/or from entrant’s acceptance, receipt, use or misuse of a  Prize (to the extent applicable) (including without limitation, any failure to pay taxes thereon). This release does not apply to personal injuries, death, damages, or losses caused by released parties’ intentional or gross negligence, or fraudulent representation.

By accepting prize, winners grant Sponsor and its designees permission to use their and their child’s/children’s (the latter, if applicable) name, voice, likeness, photograph, Prize information, biographical data and city and state/union territory of residence on a winners' list (if applicable) and for programming, publicity and promotional purposes, worldwide in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed in relation to this Contest,, in perpetuity, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor and its designees are not obligated to use any of the above-mentioned information or materials but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor's discretion, without further obligation or compensation. Promotion subject to the laws of India only.

12. DISPUTES: All disputes concerning the construction, interpretation, validity, effect, and enforceability of these Rules will be governed by the laws of India. Entrants (i) agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India as regards any claims or matters arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, and; (ii) agree that all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event will attorney’s fees or punitive, incidental, consequential, or any damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses be awarded.

13. PRIVACY: Information collected from Entrants will be used by Sponsor for the purpose of facilitating the Contest and publishing the Winners’ List as well as for other purposes consistent with our privacy policy https://www.crunchlabs.com/policies/privacy-policy. Entrants have the right to access, withdraw, and correct their personal data and under certain circumstances to oppose the collection or processing of their personal data and request the status of the Sponsor’s use or sharing of entrant’s personal data.  Entrants may request such action by contacting the Sponsor.  To exercise these rights, you may write to: help@crunchlabs.com. The Entrant’s personal data will be stored by Sponsor on servers located within the United States and the European Union. As reasonable and appropriate, third party entities will be required to sign confidentiality agreements to safeguard the integrity of the Entrant’s personal information.

14. WINNERS’ LIST: For the names of the winners, you may send an email to winnerslist@probabilityworks.com with Mark Rober Jugaad Contest” in the subject line by June 30, 2025. 

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta Platforms Inc., X Corp. or Google LLC. You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Instagram, X, YouTube or Facebook.
