What are the rules?
This is a skill-based contest, no purchase necessary. Here's a quick summary of the contest rules:
- One entry per participant
- Must be a legal resident of the United States or Canada
- Be at 13+ years old (Participants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.)

When does the contest start and end?
The contest opens at 12:01 AM Pacific Time on February 14, 2026 and closes at 11:59 PM Pacific time on March 30, 2026.
All submissions must be received during this window.
What hacks should I submit?
Entries are judged on skills demonstrated and easy for others to recreate. Get creative, have fun, and bring your best hacks to impress the product engineers.
Here's some ideas to get you started:
- Design a brand new project using Hack Pack
- Create a hack on an existing Hack Pack robot
- Show off an improvement to your favorite Hack Pack robot
Each submission must include:
- A written description explaining what you built and how it works.
- Photos and a video demonstrating your project and how others can recreate it.
- Your mailing address and Discord handle (if applicable).
Videos should be submitted in MP4 format, other formats may not be accepted.
Who chooses the winners? And how can I win?
Hack entered in the contest are judged by a panel of CrunchLabs Product Designers and approved Discord community stewards using three equally weighted criteria:
- Creativity and uniqueness of the build.
- Quality and clarity of the video and written explanation.
- Use of and reliance on Hack Pack part(s).
Judging is subjective and all decisions are final.
Do I keep ownership of my project?
Yes. Don't worry, we are friends of tech and innovators. You retain ownership of your submission.
By entering, you grant CrunchLabs a license to use your submission for contest administration and promotional purposes as outlined in the official rules. By entering, you agree that your name, likeness, and submission may be used for promotional and marketing purposes where permitted by law.

What happens if my submission includes copyrighted material?
Submissions must be original content that does not infringe on the rights of others.
Content that violates these requirements may be disqualified. Please be mindful of music and check your use before submitting.
