I homeschool my son. When he was 8, he discovered Mark on YouTube, which is where he learned about the Build Boxes. In addition to using daily science curriculum workbooks, I decided to utilize Mark as a science teacher and got my son a Build Box subscription. Each month, I set him up on a computer, and he watches the Build Box video where Mark also gives a detailed science lesson. These are so great because Mark is interesting and even makes me more interested in science. Although still challenging for him, my son has been able to build each item with minimal help from me or his dad. He's already in his third subscription year and will soon be 10 years old. We don't have a lot of space to homeschool, but we've made sure there's a special spot for CrunchLabs Build Box creations! I keep them easily accessible because almost every day my son has one of the items out to play with. My plan is to go back and use each incredibly well-made, detailed booklet that comes with every project, as a teaching guide to discuss the specific science concepts in more detail. I will bring out the related item as a model, which will be cool since my son built it! This will be a great review and help cement the concept better in my son's mind. I love it! Every month after school, I always check my mailbox to see if my Crunchlabs box arrived and it always does! I spend my whole hour-and-a-half free time playing and building with the toy and it is super fun! I got the boomerang car today and it might be the most funnest one yet!
