The Research Behind Creative Kit

Creative Kit is a monthly subscription toy from CrunchLabs that launched in November 2025 with a mission to help children build their creative confidence. Creative Confidence is the belief that turns a child's ideas into action. Here's what it is, why it matters, and how it shapes every box we make.

WHAT IS CREATIVE CONFIDENCE?

The courage to try, not just the ability to imagine

Creative confidence is the ability that turns a cool idea into real-world action, giving kids the spark to dive right into a challenge and start building. It’s not about being a perfect genius, it's about trusting yourself to solve problems, embrace failure, and Think Like An Engineer.

WHY IT MATTERS

Preparing for the future

As parents, caretakers, and educators, our goal is to support our kids as they prepare for a future where the challenges they will face as adults and the tools needed to tackle these problems do not yet exist. Building creative confidence is a critical part of that mission, giving them the ultimate superpower for real-world problem solving.

HOW IT SHAPES CREATIVE KIT

Designed from research

With familiar crafts, lovable animal characters, interactive videos, and plenty of spare parts, Creative Kit sparks imaginative play, lowers the friction to getting started, and strikes just the right balance of structure and freedom for kids to explore.
